Program Steering Committee

The Hepatitis Drug Interactions website was launched in 2010. The website team is based at the University of Liverpool and has responsibility to constantly monitor and update the site’s content.

The Programme Steering Committee (PSC) provides independent expert oversight of the Liverpool Drug Interactions programme, including the web- and app-based prescribing tools for managing drug-drug interactions for HIV, hepatitis and COVID-19. The role of the PSC includes:

  • Reviewing the effectiveness, quality, impact and sustainability of prescribing tools, and continually evaluating how these can be improved.
  • Providing advice and recommendations to the University on overall group strategy and opportunities. This includes new collaborations and new areas of development.
  • Reviewing all relevant aspects of compliance and good governance within the programme. This includes a review of industry relationships and external collaborations, considering any potential conflicts of interest and advising the University of any risks identified.
